Chinese New Year-Monday

Today Taylor took oranges and red envelopes with chocolate coins (hongbao-lucky money) to preschool to celebrate Chinese New Year with her classmates.

Chinese New Year-Sunday

The girls wore Chinese dresses to church on Sunday.

We went to the Chinese buffet in our town for lunch. Taylor and Jordan took cards and pictures for Chinese New Year to Annie (the owner) and Vivian(the waitress) who are both from China.

This is Taylor's concoction of fortune cookies and lo mein. And yes, she ate it.

Isn't Taylor flexible?

Actually that was Bailee's leg. This is how she spent our whole meal.

Chinese New Year

We started our celebration on Saturday by joining our Families With Children From China group for a fun time. The night started with crafts followed by a yummy meal, lion dancers, a martial arts demo, a silent auction, and a dragon parade. It was great introducing Bailee to everyone.
