On September 17, our baby turned 2. She is still in China---still in her orphanage. We had
expected to have our Letter of Acceptance by now and be waiting for our travel approval, but no
such luck. Our Letter of Acceptance is sitting on someone's desk--someone who doesn't care
that our baby is still in China, still in an orphanage without her family.
Enjoy these pictures that the orphanage took of her cake (we sent money for them to buy it.)
and her birthday celebration with her friends.
Happy 2nd birthday, Taylor Grace Liqing. Mommy, Daddy, and Jordan (among others) can't
wait to kiss those chubby cheeks!!!!

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous! Our son turned 3 last Friday, same thing: awaiting LOA :-(((( But we had to sign an agreement with our agency that we would not use a commercial company such as LB 'n Love; they feel it might jeopardize their relationship with CCAA. [banging head on desk]
Hoping for a speedy LOA for both of us! We are on day 65! :-)

Hang in there guys! I know it feels endlessly long and hopelessly painful to still be waiting. But GOD has HIS hands on her and has the timing in HIS plan. It's hard to hear but soo true.
Happy birthdy Taylor! She is beautiful and I can't wait to meet her! We are praying for things to get moving!
She has a lot more hair in just the short time between her referral and her birthday celebration. You are extremely lucky to have pictures of her with playmates-they usually can't be taken. Precious memories for both of you to look back on someday. Best of luck with your continued wait!
