Here is a conversation that Jordan and Mommy had on Tuesday as we pulled in the driveway after school
Jordan : Can we get a grasshopper? I really want one.
Mommy: What are you talking about?
Jordan: A grasshopper to cut with.
Mommy: I don’t know what you are talking about. ( I am picturing some kind of lawn trimming device or maybe the Mantis garden thing that I saw on TV.
Jordan: You know-a grasshopper.
Mommy: I really have no idea what you mean.
Jordan: You know-a cricket!
It then dawns on Mommy that Jordan is referring to the Cricut scrapbooking tool that we had watched an infomercial on about two or three months ago
Jordan: Please Mommy. I really want it. Please can we get it!
(Because we have an extra $300 lying around.)
Mommy: Why do you want a Cricut?
Jordan: So I can cut.
Mommy: What do you want to cut?
Jordan: A b-i-g, g-i-a-n-t, number 1!

That's funny, a grasshopper to cut with, lol
I think you should tell him to start saving and maybe by the time he is 16 he will be able to afford one. Although by the time he saves enough money i am sure it won't be an cool. LOL.
