Piggy Tales

I was so excited that Taylor's hair is finally long enough to get two small piggy tales in the top.

Six Months Ago.....

..... we first held Taylor in our arms. I can tell you that the past 6 months went SOOOOOO much faster than the 6 months that we waited after we first saw her file on May 15, 2009 until we met her in person on November 23, 2009. It really does seem like she has been in our family forever.

We love you sweet girl.

Bicycle Riding

I was finally able to find a bike seat for $5 at a yard sale on Saturday. Taylor loved her first ride with daddy and Jordan.

Who's In That Igloo?

I remembered that we had this igloo tent in the closet in the playroom. I assembled it and then called the kids into the playroom. They had so much fun playing in it. Jordan went and got a bunch of pillows and blankets to share with Taylor. They both had to get their stuffed penguins to have in the igloo.

Baby Dedication-The Movie

Baby Dedication

Today was Taylor's baby dedication at our church. They do it every year on Mother's Day. This year 10 babies were dedicated. Taylor was the first to go. Grandma and Grandpa Tarbox; Gram and Grandpa Weaver; Uncle Chuck, Aunt Suzanne, Ray, and Josh; Uncle Dave, Aunt Stacy, and Amanda all come to celebrate with us.

Yard Sale Finds 5/1

Here was my best find while yardsaling on Saturday.

I got 8 beautiful dresses (many with bloomers),


4 pairs of skorts, 4 pairs of shorts, 1 Elmo short overalls (Taylor's favorite), 1 pair of capris, 1 tank top,


9 long sleeved shirts,



5 pairs of pants, 1 velvet jumper with snowflakes on it,



light-up princess sandals, Oshkosh winter boots, and water shoes all for .........

.....$13.00. Most are 24 months or 2 T (what Taylor will be in this summer and winter) and a few are a little bigger. I love getting that many things for less than the price I am sure the person paid for those snow boots.

Photo Shoot

I was very excited to find this beautiful dress at Target today. It was originally $18, but it was marked down to $4.50. Stefan and I took Taylor outside to do a photo shoot.

Where are the bunnies?


While the paparazzi (Stefan and I) were trying to take pictures, Taylor........

..looked bored,



....twirled her dress,




....played peek-a-boo,

... blew kisses,

....scrunched down when we wanted her to stand,

...played with her hair,

....examined the fence,

...threw her arms in the air,

...and twirled her dress some more.
