Saturday in Hong Kong

We started our day with breakfast. Well actually I started my day by waking up at 2:30 and then lying in my bed trying to go back to sleep until 4:30. I finally gave up and got the IPAD.
We met up with someone who I talked to on my adoption Facebook group. Jocelyn and her husband Steve are adopting a sweet boy named Jack. We enjoyed getting to know them more and can't wait to meet Jack when they arrive in Guangzhou.
After breakfast we took the Star Ferry across the harbor. We got on a double decker bus and headed to the tram to go to the top of Victoria's Peak. The tram was neat, but very steep. The view from the top was very amazing. At the top were two buildings. They were many floors high and contained lots of stores and restaurants. We ate at a Chinese place. I had rice noodles with beef and Stefan had pork and rice.
After we came back down we headed back to the pier. We were going to head over the harbor to a life-sized replica of Noah's Ark, but it was going to be more expensive than we thought and a storm was coming in. We headed back across the harbor on the Star Ferry and it started to pour. Thankfully we brought an umbrella. We made our way back to our hotel, shopped in the gift shop, and then I took a nap.
We ate supper in the cafe at our hotel and then walked very far to a place called the Night Market. We really weren't impressed, but we bought a few things for the kids and I was able to replace my watch that had broken on the first flight. We took the subway back to our hotel.
We went down by the harbor and watched a nightly light show, but we really weren't impressed and left before it was done.
We were able to Skype with the kids and then went to bed early.
